What’s in it for you?

  • It’s free to sign up! There are no membership fees. There’s nothing to lose to signup. We take a small percentage from each booking.

  • The host provides the space. You don’t have to worry about renting or preparing. Logistics are for suckers.

  • You decide your worth. Obviously, you’re priceless, but you can set your own rate for your services.

  • You get to set your own cancellation policy. Choose from: fair, moderate, strict, super strict or strict-30 days.

  • You don’t have to invest in your own website. We’ll host your info right here, free of charge.

  • We help market your services to our intimate clients, through social media outlets, and with special community events.

  • Gathr helps you save time not having to have back and forth conversations to fulfill clients needs. Design pre-defined packages and offer pricing details upfront. If your menu is always changing, speak to seasonal offerings and maybe even leave an element of surprise!

  • Your events, your way. You don’t need to follow any rigid corporate guidelines. Curate a menu and run your experiences however you want. Make it your own!

  • Build a community and partner up with other Pros. With Gathr, you’ll often find multi-layered experiences that solve the pain-point of the host having to do everything for a party! Let’s face it, throwing a party is a ton of work. If you’re a chef curating a meal we’ll make sure our sommelier pro compliments your menu, vice versa!

  • Create your own schedule. Gathr is on your terms — it’s up to you to accept each booking. You’re the boss, boss. If you have flexibility in your schedule you can set your listing as an instant book or you can have clients reserve you until you accept the booking based on your availability.

 

What else you should know. Let’s get down to the logistics:

  • Once you add a service, we will send you a link to review your listing. If you ever need to update anything, ping us and we can update your listing as needed.

  • Upon receiving a booking, you will get an email notification as well as a calendar invite. This invitation will include everything needed for you to fulfill party needs such as:

    • Important details like the client’s name and phone number, number of guests, location for the party, start of the party and what time you should arrive, and the full order based off of your service listing. Additionally, you will be provided with any special notes customers provide such as: where to park, a list of any dietary restrictions and/or allergies, etc.

    • If the party is at an outside venue, you must have the correct requirements and/or licenses to cater to outside events related to your business as mentioned in our terms. You may be asked to send paperwork to the outside venue leading up to the event.

  • If you have to cancel an event, let us know right away so we can find a replacement. Any vendor that cancels within a 24 hour period is charged an $100 fee.

GET FREE PHOTOGRAPHY AT YOUR FIRST GATHR

  • For a limited time, we’re offering free professional photography at your first Gathr event within the city of Chicago. There’s no better way to sell your experience than with high-quality photos viewable on your event page. You’ll also be given the photos, so you can use them to advertise your events on social media and other channels.

  • One thing to note: you gotta schedule the photo session in advance to ensure a photographer will be available. Don’t worry, we’ll catch your good side.
